Hunting for Hector...

Go Go Hares!

Today we went on the BEST school trip. We got the coach into the city of Norwich - all very excited. As we entered the city, near the Puppet Theatre, we saw 3 hares!!

We HOPPED off the bus in Tombland near the Cathedral and bumped into George's mum!! We then went to the Cathedral area and found 4 more hares...one was Mr Jackson's (our artist friends)!

After that we mooched through the city spotting leveret's in shop windows and shrieking 'HARE' at the top of our voices when we spotted one each time!!

We headed to Norwich Castle (where we learnt that Thomas Jackson's mum and dad got married there!) and found even more!! After that we went to Pizza Express for a yummy lunch!

Everyone's behaviour was IMMACULATE and twice we had random people come over and ask what school we were from and comment on how incredible the children are, how polite and well mannered (a real credit to you and their school!)

After that we went into Chapelfield which was BUSY! We dodged the 'build a bear workshop chaos!!' and headed to House of Fraser. We scaled the escalators and there, hanging our in the luggage section, we found...HECTOR!!!!!!!

Our work was done...so we headed to Chapelfield Gardens for a cheeky playtime before HOPPING back on the coach opposite the Theatre Royal.

What a day - what a school. I would not take the children on such a trip if I didn't know I could trust them and they absolutely proved me right.

I am immensely proud to be their teacher.
